The function of the Advocacy Committee is to disseminate and promote the professional image of home-based nursing, empower home-based nurses to strengthen their voices as advocates for excellent care, the Sustainable Development Goals, and healthy work environments. Bylaws Committee

The bylaws committee reviews existing bylaws on a periodic basis for accuracy and to reflect current management practices.

Communication Committee

The Communications Committee is responsible for maintaining the IHCNO website in both context and content, utilizing social media platforms, providing newsletters and messages in digital format with a goal of encouraging home care nurses from around the world to utilize the IHCNO website for information and the exchange of ideas.
 

DAISY Award Committee

The DAISY committee is responsible for reviewing online applications to score the nominations based on criteria on the IHCNO website for IHCNO DAISY Clinical Nurse and IHCNO DAISY Nurse Leader.

Education Committee

The Education Committee aims to foster growth in home care nursing knowledge, understanding, and practice through conference and webinar planning, providing information and resources for our website, and conducting other educational and collaborative activities for home care nurses and patients.

Finance Committee

The Finance Committee, with three other Board members, is responsible for developing and reviewing fiscal procedures, fundraising plans, and the annual budget.

Membership Outreach Committee

Help us support nurses in our network. Welcome new nurses and answer their questions. Or help grow our network through outreach efforts and making connections.

Nominations Committee

The Nominating committee is responsible for identifying qualified candidates to fill vacancies when current members' terms end, and/or vacancies occur between annual meetings, including those officers, except the president whose vacancy shall be filled by the vice president.

Program Planning Committee

The Program committee is responsible for planning ongoing educational programs, webinars, conferences, and updating relevant articles on the website.

Publications Committee

The Publications committee is responsible for encouraging members and friends to share their experiences in home care nursing in the Home Healthcare Now journal. A 600-word page is included in each of the six issues of the journal to reflect home care around the world. Longer manuscripts are also encouraged.

Research Committee

 Researchers and nurses interested in research can help by serving on our grants review committee, by helping design and facilitate research on the International Guidelines for Home Health Nursing, by helping nurse researchers find fellow researchers interested in international collaboration, or by mentoring nurses new to research.
