Membership Categories:
Individual Memberships:
Active - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Active members are nurses who hold a current license or are retired from nursing as a registered, practical, vocational nurse or midwife in their state or country; and have an interest in home care nursing; support the mission and goals of IHCNO: and pay annual dues. Active members are eligible to vote, hold office, serve on and/or chair committees.
IHCNO is proud to subsidize individuals who need assistance with their membership dues. Subsidy of membership fees is an investment in future leaders with experience and knowledge of home-based nursing practice. IHCNO will underwrite 90% of the membership dues for individuals experiencing financial difficulties and reside in low- or middle-income countries. Those eligible for the subsidy include any new or existing IHCNO members who need assistance to activate or continue their membership. You will be notified within 10 business days of your approval. Affiliate - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Affiliate members are non-nurses connected with the health care field who support the mission and goals of IHCNO, pay annual dues. Affiliate members may vote, hold office and may serve on committees with committee chair approval.
Retired - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Retired members are registered nurses who have met the requirements for home care nursing practice/who may or may not hold a current license as a registered nurse and are retired from the practice of home care nursing; support the mission and goals of IHCNO, and pay the annual dues for this membership classification. Retired members are eligible to vote, hold office, serve on and/or chair committees.
Student - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year Student members are individuals enrolled in a formal pre-license education program who support the mission and goals of IHCNO, pay the annual dues, but do not meet the requirements for another classification of membership. Student members may not vote or hold office but may serve on committee with Board approval.
Corporate Membership
Corporate/Universities/Organizations - $500.00 (USD) (includes 3 individual members) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments. Corporate members may be for-profit or not-for-profit organizations, colleges/universities, corporations, health care agencies, hospitals, vendors, or organizations interested in supporting the mission and goals of IHCNO and pay the annual dues at the corporate membership level. Corporate members may have one membership-level official vote, hold office and be represented on committees.
